Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia'

Description :

Our little darling!

At first sight, you might think of it as a simple, little plant.

But no! Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia' or red-leaved sea thrift forms attractive little cushions, a joyful April-May flowering in a profusion of dark pink pompoms and is covered in the winter in a purple red mantle.

It is easy to grow, enjoys direct sun and poor, dry, gravelly soil.

In the garden we like to plant it at the front on a border, on a wall or as a ground cover in a dry rockery.

Accompanying plants: Stipa tenuifolia, Sesleria nitida, heather, Sedum, Sempervivum.

Easy to grow in pots or troughs.
