Description :

Salvia microphylla 'Ribambelle' is a shrub sage with a well-branched, upright habit; it produces an avalanche of salmon pink flowers from May to October. It can provide structure in a rock garden mixed with Achillea, Anthemis, Sedum, Agastache.

A favourite threesome of ours at the nursery is Salvia microphylla 'Ribambelle'+ Agastache 'Tangerine Dream'+ Kniphofia 'Orange Vanilla Popsicle'

It's not bad grown in a pot on a sunny patio either!  Salvia microphylla 'Ribambelle' always puts on a good show throughout the summer and with not too much trouble.

Grow in full sun in ordinary, light and well-drained soil. Avoid heavy, clay soils which are wet in winter. Hardiness: -10 °C / -15°C

Maintenance: regularly trim the dried floral stems Prune to shape (25 cm to 35 cm) at the end of winter.
