Armeria 'Joystick Red' is a spectacular horticultural variety with long drumstick-shaped flower stalks and a low cushion of evergreen lanceolate leaves.
The stems are strong, withstand the wind and are also good for cutting. The attractive red-pink pompom flowers are like colourful exclamation marks in a sunny border!
For seaside, gravel and rockery gardens. Plant in borders or troughs.
Plant association: with Stipa tenuifolia, as a background to the globes of santolina or artemisia (sagebrush) or mixed with lavender.
