Description :
Mat-forming spurge with beautiful blue foliage.
Like a reptile with grey-blue scales. For borders and rockeries. Grows well in containers. For an interesting black and blue effect combine Euphorbia myrsinites with Viola 'Bowle's Black'.
Flowering in April-May in large balls of yellow which turn a greyish-orange.
Height: 25 cm.
Grow Euphorbia myrsinites in ordinary soil, which can be poor and dry.
Grows very well in pots with Erigeron, Stipa, Agropyron, Sedum. Sunny exposure. Cut the dead floral stems back to the base. Re-seeds for our delight!
Note on the photo: The bracts' colouring can be surprisingly fluorescent pink after flowering.
