Although Agastache 'Globetrotter' was introduced by seed producer Jelitto ® in their 2010 catalogue, it is the result of work by Dutch breeder Brian Kabbes.
The A. pallida x A. rugosa hybrid has unusual flowers for the Agastache genus: lilac pink flowers borne on strong pink-purple bottlebrush spikes.
A vigorous grower, Agastache pallida x rugosa 'Globetrotter' loves the sun and ordinary, fairly poor well-drained soil, slightly acidic to chalky. Staking may be necessary in rich fresh soil.
It can be used for superb tub displays. A good cut flower for arrangements. Nectar-producing plant.
