As its Latin name indicates, Cymbalaria muralis, also known as ivy-leaved toadflax or Kenilworth ivy, loves to spread in crevices in old walls or paving. Flowering from April until October, sturdy as they come and altogether quite delightful.

Grow in partial shade in a rockery in well-drained soil. Damp or dry, either will do!
