This botanical species is native to Europe's mountain ranges where it is found on rocky slopes and in damp woodland. Valeriana tripteris forms an attractive clump, producing floral bouquets in spring.
Its large white-pink bouquets flower in April-May. Shiny, green foliage. Edging for a border or rockery.
Height: 30 cm. Grow in the sun or partial shade in well-drained, moist, ordinary soil. Very hardy.
