Description :

From the Greek 'nectar' the drink of the Gods that made them immortal.

This bulb is fabulously ornamental, easy to grow and to naturalise in light, well-drained oil, that should be a bit damp in the spring and dry in the summer.

Nectaroscordum siculum ssp bulgaricum is also known as Sicilian honey lily. It flowers in May and June, producing large pendant yellow-green bells with purple highlights. Height: 1 metre.

Synonym: Nectaroscordum siculum ssp bulgaricum, Allium bulgaricum

Grow in the sun in light, averagely fertile soil. Height: up to 1 metre. Planting depth: 5 cm. Planting distance: 40 cm. Fabulous cut flower in a dried bouquet. Very hardy.
