Golden edging around mahogany or black. Spring and autumn flowering
A mahogany queen with golden stripes. The mid-seventeenth century polyanthus had modest little flowers in different shades of red borne on top on 15 cm long peduncles. A century later, gold edges appeared around the petals. The enthusiasm for these plants peaked at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
