Salted butter caramel(*)
Heuchera 'Caramel' is spectacular.
Quite unprecedented in the gardening world. Caramel-coloured foliage, which is extraordinarily robust in summer and winter alike.
Heuchera villosa 'Caramel' is a recent French selection and makes a perfectly modern marriage with the chartreuse ochre of Stipa arundinacea. Or is great in a galvanised tub with Carex testacea or Agropyron magellanicum for a blue and ochre combination.
Grow this heuchera in good garden soil in the sun (cold regions) or light shade. Evergreen foliage. Very hardy.
Note: (*) a Breton speciality!
