Long summer flowering period
Achillea ptarmica 'Perry's White' is a noticeably stockier cultivar with broader brilliant white flowers which are quite astonishing and bloom from June to mid-September (*)
Hardy, sturdy and easy to grow, its an excellent edging plant and a valuable addition to a white garden.
In blue + white:
In a heavy damp soil, we like to plant it together with Geranium 'Brookside'
In ordinary, light, well-drained soil in partial shade, we match it with Geranium 'Rozanne'
In pink + white:
In a heavy damp soil, we like this combination with Lychnis flos-cuculi 'Jenny'
(*) the intensity is amplified by its dark foliage. Deadhead to promote continuous flowering.
