Aster macrophyllus 'Twilight' is undoubtedly the first aster to flower. From August onwards, its large lavender blue daisy flowers will open to join the already flourishing panicum and will keep flowering until October.

In the spring it has thick, strong foliage arranged in rosettes which can be quite attractive.

It goes well with: Panicum, Crocosmia 'Georges Davidson', Sedum 'Autumn Joy', Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm', Helenium 'Windley'

Grow in the sun or in partial shade in ordinary soil. Height: 80 cm. Planting distance: 80 cm. Very hardy.
