Description :

Dwarf Solomon's seal

Polygonatum humile is native to the woodlands of Hokkaido (Japan) and slowly, gently forms a very elegant carpet. It has attractive foliage and ravishing white spring flowers similar to those of the larger varieties of Solomon's seal.

In the garden we like to plant it near trees or in light understory, on the edge of a shady border or in pots on a shady patio. Over time Polygonatum humile grows into agreeable small ground cover.

Height: 20 cm. Planting distance: 40 cm

Grow in ordinary soil in in a shady spot. Can withstand passing drought and competition from other roots.
