Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt's Double' produces delicate and marvellous tiny mauve-pink pompom flowers. Chinese meadow rue, Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt's Double' also has a slender, graceful habit and deeply divided bluish-green foliage a little like a columbine. This is a perfect plant that every partial shade garden should have!
We like to combine it with Japanese anemone, Astilbe chinensis var. taquetii 'Superba' or to plant it as backdrop curtain in a shady bed.
Grow in light shade in humus-rich, well-drained, neutral to alkaline, good garden soil.
