Small in size, but big in flowers
Phlox 'Chattahoochee' is a small creeping variety, native to a deep valley in northern Florida, which is noteworthy for the quality of its flowers. Can you guess the name of the valley??
From June to October its lavender-blue flowers with a marked purple-red eye bring a joyful light to partial shade zones.
Grow from partial shade to non-scorching sun in acid to neutral, moist, humus-rich and well-drained soil. This is an ideal small ground cover in a woodland setting or as decoration under shrubs.
