* Gold Medal for "Weird Appearance"
Heuchera 'Midnight Rose' has purplish-black foliage spotted with bright pink in the spring time which turns creamy pink in the summer. We owe this new variety to American breeder Teri Poindexter and are sure it will appeal to gardeners in search of unusual or strange-looking plants!
The flowers are insignificant, but that doesn't really matter given the foliage. We recommend growing Heuchera 'Midnight Rose' in partial shade in good, well-drained, humus-rich garden soil.
