Bishop's Hat or Barrenwort 'Frohnleiten'
Shiny yellow flowers on green foliage with tinges of red and bronze in the spring and autumn.
Height: 35 cm.
Hardy and tough. Epimedium 'Frohnleiten' is marvellous together with ericaceous plants (azaleas, rhododendrons), but is also a good ground cover for shady and dry locations.
Grow in partial shade in ordinary soil, which can be dry. It is advisable to cut it right back at the beginning of the year (before flowering and the appearance of new growth).
