Description :

Synonym: Crucianella stylosa, Caucasian Crosswort.

Phuopsis stylosa is native to the Caucasus and northern Iran and is related to sweet woodruff. It has been grown in European gardens since the 19th century.

Phuopsis stylosa is an unusual, but not exceptional plant with attractive like pink pompom flowers from June to September. It works well as ground cover, is easy to manage, planted as edging in a border or at the foot of a bank or in a rockery.

Grow in the sun (not too hot) or in partial shade in ordinary soil.
