Plant creeping rosemary as an isolated specimen for its charming cascading habit
The type species is a shrub 120 cm in height, whereas Rosmarinus officinalis 'Prostratus' has a prostrate habit. If displayed fully, the leaves and stems are very attractive.
We use it as a ground cover in small groups planted 60 cm apart or as an isolated specimen for a rockery or pot where its cascading habit can be shown to good advantage.
Grow in the sun in well-drained, ordinary soil, which can be poor and dry.
Synonyms: Rosmarinus eriocalyx, Rosmarinus corsicus 'Prostratus', Rosmarinus officinalis lavandulaceus
