Black for a Gothic Garden
Discovered in Jane Platt's Portland (Oregon) garden, Leptinella squalida 'Platt's Black' is a small ground cover with deeply indented, coppery-bronze evergreen foliage.
It looks a little like a miniature fen and its very dark foliage, unusual in the plant world, makes it particularly attractive. A real godsend for amateurs of black plants. Height: 5 cm. Planting distance: 35 cm.
Grow in the sun or in light shade. For banks, troughs, rockeries or paving. Can withstand some trampling
