Top quality with impeccable pure white flowers.
A family story. Echinacea purpurea 'Happy Star' is the result of breeding by the Jelitto seed nursery from Echinacea purpurea'Rubinstein', which latter won an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
And as we know that Rubinstein was bred from Magnus, another award winner, this time the Perennial Plant Association's Plant of the Year, it's quite likely that Echinacea purpurea 'Happy Star' has inherited the same qualities as its noble ancestors and will become a must-have garden essential.
We are proud to offer it on brittanyperennials.uk (vivaces.fr). And wholeheartedly wish it every success!
It really is a beautiful specimen. Impeccable flowering from mid-July to mid-September of large blooms with white petals arranged horizontally around a well-formed, orange-bronze cone. A sturdy, long-lived plant. Height: 100 cm.
Grow in the sun or slight shade in ordinary, light and well-drained soil.
