Five months of flowers from June until October.
A fairly recent introduction from 1992, Geranium 'Patricia' is a cross between G. psilostemon x G. endressii. It has kept the best of both species:
- The quality of the flowers of Geranium psilostemon: large, magenta pink blooms 4.5 cm in diameter. Black centres.
- The flowering period and habit of the Geranium endressii: 6 months of flowers and leaves up to 25 cm in diameter. Dense, clump-forming habit 60 cm in height, 80 cm with the flowers.
Try planting with the chartreuse green flowering Alchemilla mollis or A. erythropoda.
Easy to grow in a bed in sun or light shade in ordinary, neutral to alkaline soil. Hardy.
