Good-bye "Johnson Blue" ! Here comes Brookside!
One of the attraction of the perennial cranesbill Geranium 'Brookside' is that it produces an abundance of deep blue flowers from May until late September. It always has clean foliage with no powdery mildew or black spot. As with all perennial geraniums, it needs pruning in mid-summer or when the flowers fade. The new growth will be the better for it.
Height: 40 cm. Use in borders or perennial beds. Very hardy and tough.
Geranium 'Brookside' or Geranium 'Rozanne'. Which to choose? 'Rozanne' is a more recent cultivar and has really spectacular flowering, but 'Brookside' has the great advantages of being easy to grow and hardy in winter.
