Allium sphaerocephalon - three plants
Allium sphaerocephalon is a decorative species with tight 3 cm diameter dark burgundy blooms. It flowers from July until September. Height: 40 cm.
Ordinary, even poor, dry soil. Sun
It goes perfectly with Stipa tenuifolia and Eryngium giganteum to create beautiful, upscale compositions. In short, one of my favourite Allium varieties.
