Sedum or Stonecrop 'Matrona' was elected plant of the year in 2000!
Francis Peeters, a Belgian radio and TV garden journalist tells us about Sedum 'Matrona':
- Chocolate bronze foliage and rose cream flowers.
- A perfect plant with a fine habit.
- Grow in ordinary soil, which can be poor and dry.
- Grows very well in pots. Free flowering. Foliage remains healthy.
Its rare purple is precious for successful combinations in full sun with a silver artemisia or a grey lavender or santolina.
Try Sedum 'Matrona' with bronze fennel and Cynara cardunculus. A dramatic combination!
Sedum 'Matrona' in addition to its majestic port,
honors us with a dazzling start to flowering.
