Achillea millefolium 'Lilac beauty’ was introduced into the ornamental plant catalogue in 1987 and is an original selection with a delicate summer flowering of lavender-pink blooms that fade to white.
In the garden we like to combine it with other gentle flowering perennials, the lavender-blue of Nepeta, the soft pink of Geranium 'Dreamland’ and/or to contrast flower shapes with the spikes of Salvia nemorosa, Verbena hastata, Veronica, or Hyssopus offiicinalis 'Roseus'... and, why not, in a duet with the sublime sage shrub Salvia microphylla ’Trebah Lilac White’.
