A complete galaxy.
Aster ericoides 'Pink Star’ grows as an elegant clump – which never droops – and a myriad of pale pink stars in September-October.
As with all the Aster ericoides, A. 'Pink Star’ has good resistance to powdery mildew (Oïdium) and temporary drought. Height: 120 cm.
In the garden, we like to plant this aster in a perennial bed combined with tall grasses (Miscanthus, Panicum) and other pink or blue-flowering asters.
Given that it holds its tapered shape very well, Aster ericoides 'Pink Star' can also be planted on its own as a focus plant in a border.
Grow in the sun or light shade in ordinary soil. An excellent cut flower.
