Easy to grow and hardy
Diascia fetcaniensis is native to the meadows and banks of streams in the mountains of South Africa (Drakensberg, Lesotho, Cape Province). It produces an abundance of light pink flowers in late spring.
As the flowers are borne on soft stems, the plant has a slightly drooping habit. This makes it suitable to grow in pots, troughs or in raised borders or rock gardens.
Grow in the sun or slight shade in ordinary soil, not too dry in summer and well-drained in winter. Hardiness: -10°C
- 12 cm pot
- Hardiness zones : zone 7-10
- Height: 30 to 50cm
- Plant spacing: 40 cm
- Flower colour: saumon
- Flowering period: summer flowers
