This mildew-resistant aster will grow anywhere. It is an absolute autumn essential, with a rounded habit and deeply indented 'oak leaf' foliage.
We like to plant Aster ageratiodes 'Asran' in a border of tall perennials together with Aster dumosus, Chrysanthemum 'Meykio', and under grasses.
Grow in ordinary garden soil in the sun or slight shade. Easy to grow.
