Description :

Bidibidi, Piripiri

Originally from New Zealand, Acaena inermis 'Purpurea' is truly enchanting!

Its foliage makes it look like a tiny fern and has an exceptional purplish bronze to olive green hue.

An evergreen ground cover plant which is very effective en masse and it grows well with spring-flowering bulbs.

In the garden, we use it in the alpine rockery, to cover the base of a low wall, to decorate paving or the edges of paths. It's worth trying it in association with a Carex.

Height: 10 cm. Planting distance: 50 cm. 3 plants / m². Cultivation: in the sun in ordinary soil, light, well-drained, neutral to alkaline and not too dry in the summer.
