Description :

A cloud of small soft pink pompoms from late summer until the first frost.

Aster 'Kylie' is derived from a cross between Aster novae-angliae 'Andenken an Alma Pötschke' x Aster ericoides 'White Heather' and unfailingly produces pleasant flowers over a long period.

Planted either in heavy, wet soil or in ordinary soil which can even be a little dry, in the sun or partial shade, it grows quietly without producing suckers or developing mildew!

It's a great pleasure to offer this very pretty plant! We suggest planting it at the back of a mixed border together with white or light pink flowering Echinacea and the sublime Panicum virgatum 'Dallas Blues' (Contrast the small bright pink flowers of Aster 'Kylie' and the broad, bluish leaves of Panicum)

Maintenance: cut down to 10 cm when you are tidying the bed for winter, mulch in the springtime and divide every 4 - 5 years.

Note on the photo: Aster 'Kylie' has uniformly soft pink petals whereas on the picture they appear pinkish white.
