Native to Mexico, Sedum mexicanum 'Lemon Ball' is a surprising succulent: it is incredibly vigorous, very hardy and has intensely luminous foliage.

This gem of a plant has dense bushy yellow chartreuse foliage which is particularly attractive.

As it grows rapidly it is useful as a ground cover for a sunny rockery or to grow in pots together with darker foliage (Ajuga, Ophiopogon, Pachysandra) or blue foliage plants (Agropyron magellanicum, Schizachyrium scoparium 'Blue Heaven').

Grow preferably in the sun in light, well-drained soil. Hardiness: -10°C / - 15°C
