Originally from Siberia, Aruncus dioicus var kamtschaticus or Goat's beard is a great improvement on the type species.
Attractive shiny dark green foliage with stunning silky cream inflorescences that look like Astilbe or Filipendula. Deciduous.
The great white beards are ideal to lighten a shady area or to provide a backdrop to a partial shade bed.
Height: 150 cm. Planting distance: 120 cm. Grow in partial shade in good, rich garden soil that is not too dry. A good cut flower for arrangements.
