Aquilegia vulgaris 'Black Barlow'

Availability : Available

Description :

Mini Dahlias

Aquilegia 'Black Barlow' is popular for its purple black flowers that look like mini dahlias. It creates a more effective contrast than the other Barlow cultivars when you associate it with white alliums (Allium c.pulchellum 'Album') or other perennials (Dicentra, Amsonia, Phlox, Digitalis, Geranium, Delphinium, etc.)

It is also excellent for its cut flowers, which are long-stemmed and abundant.

For cultivation in pots, plant Aquilegia 'Black Barlow' with Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost' orBrunnera 'Looking Glass'. You won't be disappointed!
