Chrysanthemum 'Emperor of China'
or Chrysanthemum 'Old Cottage Pink'
The English are crazy about them !! One of the oldest known chrysanthemums, which has been grown in China for 2300 years. Its incredibly beautiful flowers make it a great garden classic.
The purple floral buds open to become large mother-of-pearl pink semi-double flowers in October and November. In the garden, we like to plant Chrysanthemum 'Emperor of China' with Aster ericoides 'Erlkönig'
