Superb and elegant
Agapanthus 'White Heaven' gives us a superb flowering, from late summer until early autumn, in bunches of tall white, semi-double blooms about 25 cm in diameter.
In the garden we plant this agapanthus in good, fertile, moist, but well-drained soil. Agapanthus 'White Heaven’ deploys its tall (up to 120 cm) elegance at regular intervals.
You can also grow it in pots. For pot growing, and to encourage flowering, regular watering with fertilizer added from early spring onwards from the new leaf growth and until it starts flowering. In the winter, bring the pot or container inside to a veranda, cold frame or unheated room. In the garden, a thick winter mulch (*) will protect the plant from frost.
(*) The protective mulch must remain dry to be effective against the cold.
