With flowers like rosebuds,
Geranium 'Summer Skies' was introduced by the English nursery Blooms of Bressingham and is a sterile (*) double flower version of Geranium pratense.
White to bluish purple blooms as they fade, flowering starts in the early summer, continuing in June and July and can resume at the beginning of autumn.
It goes very well planted with Phlox paniculata 'Blue Paradise', Tradescantia 'Sunshine Charm', Monarda 'Beauty of Cobbam', Persicaria bistorta 'Superba'
A charming duo with the gracious grass Melica uniflora 'Albida'.
Grow in the sun in cold regions - in partial shade in the south of France - in good garden soil, moist in the summer and well-drained in the winter.
* As the plant does not produce seeds its flowering period is prolonged.
