Large purple pink daisy flowers with dark cone hearts.
Echinacea purpurea 'Rubinstern' is an improvement on Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus'; it has impeccable flowers and is trouble-free throughout the summer. You can combine it with other large herbaceous perennials such as Heliopsis, Coreopsis or Chelone.
Water from time to time, regularly deadhead (which you will remember to do, won't you?) and Rubinstern will keep flowering until the autumn! A good cut flower.
