A real favourite
Rudbeckia triloba is a botanical species from the great prairies of Iowa (USA). 'Prairie Glow' is a new variety produced by American breeder, David Cavagnaro.
From July to October this completely charming plant produces a multitude of little multicoloured, daisy-like flowers in the warm hues of a beautiful sunset.
In the garden, we like to combine Rudbeckia triloba 'Prairie Glow' with grasses, such as:Pennisetum, Panicum, Deschampsia.
Height: 100 cm. Planting distance: 50 cm. Cultivation: in the sun in ordinary soil. Hardy.
Bonus: Rudbeckia triloba is a short-lived perennial, sometimes considered as a biennial, but it reseeds easily and freely from mid-October onwards and goes particularly well in a natural garden.
