There are some invasive plants that you just have to love. Easy to get along with and hardy, they bring life to a garden. And Bidens heterophylla 'Hannay's Lemon Drop' is one of them.

If you have a difficult spot to fill at the bottom of a wall or a bank, in a remote corner, this suckering perennial will occupy a good square metre in less than two years.

It is the ideal companion for grasses, Miscanthus or Panicum and can also be planted at the back of a perennial bed in company with other invaders (Phlomis russeliana, Aster)

Flowers from June to October in large yellow and white bicolour flowers.

Cultivation: in the sun in ordinary soil.

Height: 120 cm.

Hardiness: - 15 °C.
