Geranium 'Sweet Heidy' is a recent selection (2007) from Dutch hybridizer Marco van Noort.
Geranium 'Sweet Heidy' was bred from Geranium wallichianum and has kept its remarkable ornamental qualities: fascinating, abundant, multicoloured 2.5 cm diameter mauve blue flowers with purple-veined white centres. They bloom from May to September. Vigorous and easy to grow.
In the garden it is useful as ground cover on the edge of a sunny border or in a pot on a patio.
Height: 35 cm. Planting distance: 50 cm. Grow in the sun or slight shade in ordinary, soft, well-drained soil. Hardiness: - 15°C.
