For a Claude Monet style garden
Bottle brush inflorescences (Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Speciosum', Persicaria bistorta 'Superba', Sanguisorba) are particularly valuable as punctuation to create contrasts with well defined forms or alternatively, planted en masse to create an effect worthy of Monet's garden at Giverny.
