Description :

For a Claude Monet style garden

Bottle brush inflorescences (Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Speciosum', Persicaria bistorta 'Superba', Sanguisorba) are particularly valuable as punctuation to create contrasts with well defined forms or alternatively, planted en masse to create an effect worthy of Monet's garden at Giverny.

Sanguisorba menziesii, also known as Great burnet, Greater salad burnet or Burnet blood-wort, is native to Alaska and produces purple-red flowering spikes from June to August. Deeply cut bluish foliage.

Height: 80 cm. Planting distance: 80 cm. Grow in good garden soil that is not too dry (!) in sun to light shade.

- 0,7 litre pot

- Hardiness zones : zone 6-10
- Height: 70 to 100cm
- Plant spacing: 80 cm

- Flower colour: purple
- Flowering period: summer flowers
