This majestic plant needs a generous border
Veronicastrum virginicum 'Album' or Culver's Root is native to the north-eastern United States and is a strong, beautiful plant that produces long, fine, pure white flower spikes throughout July and August.
Height: 150 cm.
Grow in the sun (not too hot) or in partial shade in good garden soil.
It is a good idea to plant it with other long-stemmed summer plants (Rudbekia, Helenium, Helianthus) or with grasses (Miscanthus, Panicum, Spodiopogon sibiricus).
Our advice: for a great lighting contrast, plant at the edge of a shady wood. Culver's Root can also provide a magnificently elegant decorative note grown in a 50 litre container in a shady courtyard.
