Carex testacea or Orange New Zealand Sedge has beautiful coppery-orange foliage.
Grown in full sun it will turn completely orange in winter. In partial shade in turns olive green.
Works well with orange, purple or pink flowering plants or rust-coloured foliage plants.
Height: 50 cm. Planting distance: 80 cm. Grows very well in pots. Sun or partial shade. Ordinary, not too dry, well-drained soil. Hardiness: - 15°C.
