A durable grass for tough conditions
The Sesleria genus is little used in ornamental gardens. Gardeners tend to like the attractive clumps of evergreen and extremely durable foliage of Nest moor grass or Grey moor grass rather than the inflorescences.
It can cope with tough growing conditions (cold, heat, drought, damp) and is useful for large-scale landscaping, natural gardens, meadows, container growing or for green roofs.
Seslera nitida forms tall clumps of blue-green foliage. Height of the foliage: 50 cm. Planting distance: 70 cm Grow in the sun in ordinary soil, which can be poor and dry. Very hardy.
