Phalaris 'Luteopicta'
Description :
Luminous and robust come what may
Its long, delicately drooping foliage a soft green, edged with creamy white, lights up the garden.
In a perennial bed Phalaris arundinacea var. picta Luteopicta is a good companion for pimpernels (Sanguisorba hakusanensis, Sanguisorba Red ThunderSanguisorba tenuifolia 'Alba') and perennial geraniums (Geranium Dragon Heart, Geranium Patricia).
In pots, the way it moves and catches the light can add an original touch to a shady patio.
Planted near water, it will rapidly form healthy clumps to accompany 'Iris ensata or Rheum alexandrae.
