Carex remota is native to damp, shady zones in Northern Europe and produces simple, attractive tussocks. Finely textured and luminous, it likes the moist spots in the garden; shady beds or by a pond.
Grow in pots for a natural effect.

Grow in ordinary soil, that should be moist to damp (increasingly so the more sunshine it receives). Hardiness: -15 °C
