Description :

Native to New Zealand, the Anemanthele genus only has one species, also known as gossamer grass or New Zealand wind grass.

This marvellous grass, a favourite in English gardens, produces a sublime display of orangey-red foliage from late summer

Anemanthele lessoniana 's pink-red inflorescences are very attractive and luminous. They appear in early summer.

For borders, in undergrowth near trees, rockeries and pots.

Although in its natural habitat it is an understory plant, you can plant Anemanthele lessoniana in the sun in good garden soil.
