Columbine with clematis-type, semi-double flowers. The floral buds of Aquilegia vulgaris plena 'Green Apples' are chartreuse green. They turn apple green (Granny Smith!) when they open and then age into a creamy white.
For edges, mixed borders, vicarage and cottage gardens !
Grow in semi-sunshine or slight shade in ordinary soil that should not be too dry.
Height of the flower stems: 80 cm. Flowering period is at the end of spring from May to July.
