Uniformly golden foliage all year round.
Not very often available from nurseries, Paronychia kapela 'Binsted Gold' (also known as golden nailwort, chickweed or Whitlow-wort) has beautiful evergreen golden-yellow foliage and marvellous summer flowers with silvery bracts and it is a vigorous grower.
These qualities make it an incredible ground cover for rocky outcrops or rockery borders.
Grow in the sun or light shade in fertile, gravelly soil. Resists summer drought once established.
Planted in partial shade the foliage will take on a yellow-green hue.
